NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION

Wired start to finish, so you only coordinate one electrical crew.

We work with home builders to do complete electrical installation in new home construction, from the first rough-in to the final trim walk-through.

Chapter 01

What builders lose when electrical comes in three pieces

Our expertise in all aspects of wiring saves builders time, energy, and costs, and you no longer have to coordinate with multiple contractors for different electrical needs. That is the whole pitch, and it is a practical one.

On a new home the power wiring, the low-voltage pre-wire for TVs and cameras, and the satellite and internet prep can easily end up with different crews arriving on different days. Every handoff is a place for a missed box, a wire pulled to the wrong wall or a call that nobody returns. One crew that does all of it means one schedule and one set of plans to keep current.

It also traces back to how we started. We began in 1984 putting up satellite dishes, and moving or altering wiring became a daily occurrence on every TV and internet job. Expanding into electrical was a natural evolution, and it is why the same crew that rough-ins your panel also knows where the dish and the home theater wiring need to land.

Four steps from plans to final walk-through

Plans & Bidding come first. We can bid off the floor plans you provide to us or create our own electrical plans. Either way the bid and the plan are agreed before anyone picks up a drill.

Quality Electrical Work follows. Our team gets to work based on the agreed-upon plan. Then the Walk-Through: once work is complete, we do a walk-through with the builder and customer, if applicable, to ensure everything was completed as promised.

Trim & Final Walk-Through is the last step. When we go back for trim, we do another walk-through and discuss any changes that need to be made or additional items you may want to add. That second look is where a homeowner's late idea, one more outlet or a TV wall that moved, gets handled while the crew is already on site.

Chapter 03

Communication is Key

At CBSE, communication is a top priority. We believe in keeping our builders well-informed throughout every step of the process.

That includes confirming appointments and discussing any necessary changes before implementing them. We promptly share inspection results with our builders and are available for contact from Monday to Saturday through our office personnel. Nothing gets changed on your job without a conversation first.

For new construction and major remodeling electrical projects, we travel anywhere east of the Cascades within the state of Washington. We're always looking to build relationships with new contractors, and we look forward to working with you.

The wire you can't see, and the light you can.

Under-cabinet LEDs, recessed cans and lit glass uppers all start as a plan and a cable run in an open wall. These are jobs we wired, photographed on the way to finished, including two that were still mid-construction when the picture was taken.

Building a home is not the only time this crew shows up. Our residential electrical services cover panels, lighting and remodel wiring once the family has moved in. The home theater and low-voltage work picks up where your pre-wire leaves off, and the satellite and internet prep under the eaves sets the homeowner up for our DISH Network installation when they sign up.
